AIr Filters an Intake

Featured Replies

I know this has probably been on here before but here goes. Does installing a new panel filter or intake make a massive difference? I know from following my mate in his VRS he has a green cottan filter and a PD160 intake and it seems to kick out less crap out the exhaust as it first did, but will it affect performane.

Also what filter would you suggest (brand) i have looked at the usal suspects but not sure if any they make any difference? And which one is best?

Cheers!

the 160 intake will do more than the air filter. Together they will improve things marginally, but both serve to allow more power to be squeezed out when remapping.

Green cotton is my fave of the all the panel filters out there.

Being as your car is standard, I would stick with a standard filter and save your money :)

Its standard at the moment  but i want to get it ready for a remap and would rather put parts into the car in small chunks (less money at a time :D) then have to spend it all at once :D
