cheers mate, i did the same, but got into work monday night and the skip had been emptied!

it never gets emptied, let alone on a monday!!!!!!!!!!!

paperclip and a bit of insulation tape maybe as a blue peter style bodge?

yea mate any old bit of wire will do then just tape it all up so no dirt gets in the plug.

the sensor is only on one side iirc? and when i did mine I did the drivers side first and thought there was no sensors on the pads so I cut the sensors off as both sets had them. only to find I needed tehm on the other side lol

but the pads were the wrong connector lol so want too bad.

Yeh the sensors are on the passenger side, like someone said I'm literally gona paperclip it together, my connector is female at the moment though so it would be a load easier if I had the male end I could just short then just plug in!

Many thanks

Get someone with VAGCOM to decode it.

ive just had a look in the skip & amazingly it hadnt been emptied,a first for the m.o.d,it normally gets emptied every week if it needs it or not!!! anyway i have cut the connector off my old pads so if you still want it send me your name & address & ill post it to you! :)

Sensor being taped is fine:thumbup: as long as it doesnt foul or rub anything

wheres garsington?

just down the road, how long have you been at benson?

garsington is a mile outside of blackbird leys on the watlington road.

Billy , I did the exact same thing:rofl: Then ended up re soldering the wire back on. fortunatley there was enough wire left.

yea lol mind they were the rong ones. I ordered the BD predator pads from Europerformance and they called me up to say the ones on the web were not the ones for the car so sent me the set I got. the plug was round not square like the mk 1 is.?????

I have the EBC Grooved drilled disks and the predator pads and It is p155in me of coz they are ticking when driving. also there is about 1.5 inch that is not really being touched under light breakin. like the breaks are working from the outside in toward the middl so on a run thru town the middle doesnt get used.

anyone know what this could be?

I am gonna strip it all off and start again when I finnish in glasgow and get home.
