Symphony AF function

Featured Replies

I hope someone can help as I'm reaching the end of my tether shouting and swearing in the car...

The problem is the automatic switching of the radio station (AF) to find a stronger signal. You see whenever I'm out in the car and listening to the match (on Century) it switches over and I loose the commentary on my game (Sunderland) and find I'm listening to the filthy Mags (Newcastle)...

Just wondering if its possible to knock it off, hopefully it will be...

I've searched on the forums for an answer but to no avail...

Cheers in advance folks...

It's because of political correctness.. listening to mackem games causes serious offence to football lovers...james milner rules ok :D

I live 'north of the river', and have the same prob..so, being serious, what i do, is just press the century button on my radio again, and it brings back the toon game..by the way, i reckon we're BOTH going to lose on 1st feb :(

theres a sticky on the forum somewhere to the skoda website. you can download the radio maual PDF and it tells you how to access the menu. I would tell you but i can't remember how to do it.

I have the manual scanned in on my lappy so...

Press and hold the "TP" button for more than 2 seconds to enter the special RDS settings mode.

Use the double right and left arrow buttons "<< or >>" to go to LRN

Use the up and down arrow buttons "^ or v" to turn the automatic station search OFF

You can then use the double right and left arrow buttons "<< or >>" again to go to REG and turn that ON as well in the same way using the up and down arrow bottons "^ or v". This should then only choose identical programmes.

One of the above or both in combination should do it.

Is your Radio set on FM1, 2 or AS?
