Fab rear speakers

Featured Replies

What would fit nicely in the standard holes? Just want a decent pair of coax for rear fill.

Answers on a post card!

Think their 10cm (4in) in size if that helps.

They are 4", but not all speakers fit, you can`t get infinities in there apparentlY!

If anyone finds out that a decent set of speakers will fit back there... please let me know! It will be the last set of speakers to upgrade for me!

I went for a pair of sony xplods to tie me over. Bit of a mistake, not much of an upgrade of a side step . . .

Can you let us know all the upgrades you have done so far with speaker models and sizes etc. Did you swap them out yourself or get them done at a car audio shop? using a sub?

Are you going for quality or just loud?

Thanks for any info.

Where to start? :D

OK - boot is now full of twin MTX Thunderpro true 500W subwoofers - powered by Kenwood 1000W peak power amplifier (100W RMS per channel roughly). These are LOUD, not very SQ, but thats why I've got a set of infinity Kappa 5.1s for the front doors - being fitted a week tomorrow by a local friendly ICE expert in Peterborough.

Also have a set of 6 x 9s in a parcel shelf I'm trying to shift on - I hooked them into the same wires my OEM rear speakers use, and although it improved things, it's simply not needed with the massive levels of bass the twin subs produce.

You can hear it all at TRAX if you're coming? :speaker: :D :speaker:

Thanks for the info

Rear speakers in Fabia are not up to much, problem is they are 4 inch units. I am going to fit some 6 inch units to rear parcel shelf in a month or so. May go for the Kenwood KFC-1789ie at
