Well i want to upgrade the front door speakers for my car which shouldnt be to hard one would think. I have a 2000 fabia sdi..has anyone got any tips or advice for getting at the speakers and maybe the spec of the standard ones. like what size they are?

Well I have upgraded the system in SDi this weekend. I now have kenwood 6x9's on the rear shelf and kenwood round 10cm speakers in the door (came half price with the head unit i got from argos!) and i have to admit, while 6x9's get a lot of bad press they sound very good!

All in all though apart from taking the door card off to replace the fronts its very easy. you got a haynes manual?

put 'Fabia front speakers ' in search , There are many posts including mine in which I replaced the normal Fabia speakers with 170mm Pioneer ones. This needed two MDF 18mm thick rings which can be made or brought on Ebay
