Someone kindly removed my badge with a screwdriver leaving a gash in the paint, so one thought I had was to be lazy and buy a bigger Skoda badge, take the pins off it, and stick that firmly in it's place.

From what I can tell the bog standard badges are 8cm, with the superb ones being slightly bigger. From what I can tell the part number for the Superb Skoda emblem is 3U0853621 for the front and 3U0853621B for the rear.

Was hoping someone might know off hand the approx diameter of the badges and what the difference was between the front and the rear badge.

Don't know the badge diameter but they are the same size and the only difference is that they have different pins locations and I am pretty sure that the front badge is slightly more curved..........could be wrong on that one as it was a long time ago when I replaced them both............

I thought the Superb's were bigger (at least, then an Octavia's)

Although perhaps it's more correct to say the Octavia has smaller badges than the Superb... but then that's not a Felicia... and maybe the badges on there are bigger then the Superb... or the Octy... or maybe smaller?

Sorry mate, I don't know if I am getting confused here but as the post was made in the Superb section I assumed the OP was aimed at Superb Badges, I was just confirming that the front and rear badges on the Superb are the same size..........

Does the Favorit tailgate not have a recess in which the badge sits in? If it does this may prevent you from fitting a larger diameter badge.

Ah ha! So I did confuse you! Mission accomplished!

Seriously though, I think the OP thinks the Felicia has the same size badges as the Superb. I was in the process of replying with the "Superbs have the largest badges" when I realised that all I know is that the Superb has bigger badges than the Octy.

Then I just typed out my thought process in an effort to confuse you all, thus.

Standard Favorit badge is 8cm like the octavia, felicia etc. I was hoping the Superb's might be maybe 9 to 10cm. All I should need to do to fit is take the locating pins off assuming the badge is flat. Seems like the rear is probably the one to go for if I'm going to try

Just measured my rear badge and it is just under 94mm.

(you still need to make sure that you are happy with the comment i made in post #5)

No recess so so long as it's flat with the pins ground down it should be ok Just need to ensure it doesn't go on wonky

I've change my rear badge a few months back, however I haven't seen any pins on it. It's just Skoda badge with 2 side tape ...

Must've been a Bentley owner who's just read the latest Autocar:rofl:

The rear is about 9.4cm straight diameter (not including the curvature of the badge face which takes it up to around 10cm), but the front is about 9.6cm including the curvature. So looks like the rear is a bit bigger. But without taking them off...
