Can i have a hand with these codes (just 3)

Featured Replies

Having a few probs with my 1998 MK1 Octavia 1.6 peterol scanned today and comes up with the following...I have the ABS light on and the handbrake light bleeps 3 times

Under ABS i have the following...

00668 Battery Power Voltage Supply (Terminal 30

Or Supply Voltage (Terminal 30)

Where is this terminal 30 ? is it on the abs modual or the main ecu?

Under Engine I have the following 2 codes...

01316 ABS Modual no communication

00537 Oxygen Sensor Control or Lambda 02 regulation fault.

I am persuming that the o2 sensor will be seperate from the other 2 codes which seem to be abs issues.

With regards to the 0xygen sensor the only symptom i am having is a slight irratic idle and when it stalls it is very hard to start and you have to put your foot on the acelerator pedal to get it started again.

Thanks guys for any pointers you can give me.

Please Check the Ross-Tech Wiki All of the codes are there along with possible causes and possible solutions.

Thanks but this is a strange one as The only code i have now is...

01316 Abs Control Module

This came up after scanning the Eengine components and not the ABS system? also strangly I dont have an ABS light on the dash.

I have slammed on the brakes and notice that the ABS does work and pulsates the pedal.

Why would this happen and should I just ignore it?

Cheers

Did it come up as an intermittent fault? If so, clear and/or ignore it for now.

Came up as intermittent but when cleared it comes back the min the engine is turned on. Lucky on my model i dont have an engine management light and the abs is working just this fault code.

Thanks.

You may wanna post a complete scan or at least use the copy button on the fault code screen. So far the information you have given is incomplete that makes it hard to get you some help...
