i have a 2004 1.9 pd engine. when uyou turn the ign on if the glow plug lights the car will start, if it doesnt light it wont go for, if you plug in a diagnostic scanner it wont ommunicate with anything, then after 30secs you here a click {relay} then it starts,, please help im pulling my hair out

Sounds like the ecu relay is on its way out. IIRC, it is relay 428.

change the relay it should solve the problem. until the relay clicks the ecu is not powering up a common complaint
