As the title says i scan the engine system and get the "abs modual no communication" but when i scan my ABS system there are no errors reported.

Can anyone please tell me why i would get this abs fault error when scanning the engine system surley this should show up under abs diagnostics and not under engine diagnostics.

Could it be possible that a previous person has been playing around with wiring or maybe meworrying over nothing.

Just seems stange to me.

Are you saying you can scan the ABS controller directly, but the engine controller reports it cannot communicate with it?
