ABS Trouble help required

Featured Replies

My car has been in for a new front wheel bearing this week & all was fine for a day, but the ABS cut in one day I just thought it might of been a patch of diesel on the road. But since then it has got worse & is activating everytime you touch the brake pedal, I have had this trouble before around a year ago but this was fixed by Skoda as a wiring fault in the loom.

Seeing as I have had the wheel bearing done & its now playing up since, I was just wondering if this could be the area of trouble. The work was done by a reputable vw specialist in my area & the system shows no faults on the workshop computer.

I have no lights on the dashboard, just ABS all the time I hit the brakes. I'm completely stumped as I have never heard of the ABS working all the time.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
