It really does make a difference.....especially on roundabouts  :rofl::rofl::rofl:

why don't they fit these as standard

I think it is safer than the original.....steering is sharper and the car doesn't lean on corners, it's so much more stable ...... and if pushed I think it would still tend to understeer

lol? I think you'll find a RARB improves the handling of the car - not the opposite

I think what you will find Tom means if you made a car that handled superbly people would drive too fast...lol.

Nope - lift off oversteer gets more snappy, and guess what an everage driver does when the car starts to understeer, they lift off. With that in mind, manufacturers tend to prefer (plenty of / too much) understeer, dropping to neutral, as opposed to a little understeer snapping into oversteer.

Dont get me wrong, I prefer the RARB on my Fabia ;) but still :)

People still drive to fast in cars that dont handle "superbly" and IMO cars that handle better are safer in general driving especially on a poor surface.

Its only when people start driving to fast in the wrong places at the wrong time ie. not driving to the conditions that things can go wrong.

Yep, well kinda, and:

Understeer is pretty safe, easy to control and counteract. Oversteer is nowhere near as easy.

I loved the RARB on my old Fabia, loads of lift off oversteer on demand, what a hoot. If I'd of had one before any further driver training or what have you I wouldn't be here today!

.......very happy with it so far.......I like mods that actually work without altering the appearance of the car too much, that way I can have the enjoyment of driving it without every saxo/corsa on this earth trying to challenge me.

Will try and get the 225/45/17 wheels that I got from Tom cleaned and on there soon as well ...now they should work happily with the ARB :D

Can's say it looks any different apart from red to me, so I guess it must be internally stronger.

Personally I'd say increasing lift off over steer is a bad thing for actually making progress and only a good thing if you fancy a bit of putting the back end out for show boating purposes.

I mean ask the drivers of the 205 1.9GTI and MK I Golf GTI and I'd suggest the lift off over steer was what most of them wanted rid of.
