I have just purchased an Octavia VRS Diesel and have stumbled across this forum during my 'google powered' hunts for information.

Looks like a good place to satisfy my knowledge lust!, Lol

I got introduced to the world of Skoda's when a good friend of mine bought a Fabia VRS last year. I must admit my first reaction was to get him to therapy ASAP, BUT when he took me out in it I was very impressed.

As I have just had to give my company car back (Merc Kompressor), I looked around at the Octavia VRS diesels (I commute 150 miles a day so economy was key now I paid for the fuel!).

Found myself a low mileage stunner in blue, very happy.

I have UPGRADED from a Merc to a Skoda - never thought I would hear myself say that, Lol

Just looking around for things to add - sat nav is high on my list, so would welcome any comments!

Looking forward to reading the forums and getting to know more about my new motor.
