Boot control

Featured Replies

Just taken delivery of my 170CR Elegance and cannot find the button inside to release the boot.

Does one exist!!

Hi - if my SE is anything to go by....sorry, no !

There is no internal release for the boot, on the Elegance.

Sorry. No boot button. However

1 Take your key out of the ignition and all doors, including the boot, unlock

2 Switch off the central locking by the switch on the drivers/ front passengers door and the boot will unlock (I hope)

3 Use the switch on your key fob to unlock the boot with a quite press

4 Hold the switch on your key fob and the boot will open of itself (like magic)

I cant think of any more at present

Trevor

If you are outside your vehicle and the doors are locked you can open the boot by pressing the boot section on the remote, keep it pressed for a couple of seconds and the boot will automaticaly open. to close, lower boot lid the auto locking mechanism will work and the boot locks and resets the alarm. If you have the sound signal set it also chirps.

So does the bottom part of the boor open right up ala Passat?

Ok found it....
