How did you get on? I have the eml light on with the P0411 code showing, I had it reset during service about two weeks back but came back on yesterday. Cars running fine as far as I know, sounds quite diesely when started and the secondary air pump is on.

Could my P0411 code be caused by the secondary air pump as the light came on after short hard accelerating roughly 5 minutes after starting the car? I would think the pump is off by then.

Until the coolant and catalytic converter are hot enough the ECU can switch it on. 5 minutes of running at this time of year will often not put enough heat into the Cat and if you booted it could have caused it to come on hence the fault code.
