just joined hello everyone comfort auto revs often fluctuate 100-200 mostly between speeds 40-60 in cruise control or not got car for taxi and love it & it tows my large caravan a dream

My Transporter occassionally gets into a "fluctuating revs in cruise control mode" - but only when I'm going down a fairly steep hill and it is using very little accelerator.

When does yours play up ? It doesn't have a conventional auto with a "lock up" function in the higher gears by any chance ?

mine plays up in or out of cruise control, i dont know about lock up but its mainly between 40-60 mph rarely below 40 and never above 60
