Bluetooth kit

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about getting a Bluetooth hands free phone kit. I have been looking at the Parrot CK3000 or CK3100.

Has anyone got etheir of these or can recomend me another one?

Thanks

There are other options available that might appeal a little more ;)

I have looked at this but wasn't sure if I could install it as I dont have maxidot display? Also i'd need some one with vag-com to code it for me and it looks a bit of a pain to fit!

I stand to be corrected though as i'm all for a more factory looking fit.

Thanks for your reply.

I have the CK3100 - fairly easy to fit and works well, you will need the quadlock adaptor cable to go with it.

Only problem I had was finding a switched live - tagged from the fuse box in the end with an inline fuse.

I had this in my old Octavia for a year or so before I transferred it to the Roomster.

i installed this before i got maxidot, basically to answer calls you can use the button on the stalk but you wont be able to use the display etc to make calls, this without maxi dot needs to be done manually.

What sort of phone do you want to use with it? I have just fitted a Parrot MKi9000 to mine and can't fault it. There is no display, but I use an Iphone so that's not an issue and I can stream music from and charge the Iphone with the kit.

It supports line in connectivity if you don't have an aux socket as well as USB and Iphone's.

Voice dialing is on a par with the THB bury kit's and it's only £78 in CPW at the moment.

I would say that currently, apart from the OEM kit, it has to be the new Parrot series or the excellent THB bury.

CK3100 simple to use, neat and not too large  Only thing is finding the switched live as mentioned above, but you will have the same problem with the CK3000. The mini display makes the difference.

I have the Bury 6090 and would recommend it. It has a nice colour touch screen and the voice dailing is very good (no need to train it just say name and finds it in your address book. If you do a search under bury on here you should find a thread I wrote with pictures.
