Funny problem with my Octavia

Featured Replies

Hi - I was driving along a dual carriageway this evening and the car decided to vear a few times to the right and the left?? I have had a problem with the wheels wobbling when braking for a little bit too which has lead me to think it was the driveshaft / cv joint?

I decided to do a test when I got back home - so started by driving on a tight lock in the main car park driving towards the right. Next I had a Ford Focus come up to me whilst I was trying to find out what was wrong. I then drove the round the car park away from them, and it still follows me and then blocked me from driving anymore! :thumbdwn: Next a policemen jumps out and wants to see what Im up to - I explained and he said they stopped me because I looked too young to drive! I said I m 24 next month lol! I tried the test again when he was gone (he said I needed to be more aggresive with the steering on it to find out what was wrong!) I didnt hear any knocks etc when I tried again.

Any suggestions very welcome - Im planning on getting to the garage on Saturday.

You said wobbling when braking so could be warped brake discs.Worth a check also.

Hi check your tyre pressures may also be a siezed brake caliper
