Dashboard Lights

Featured Replies

Hi,

Some of my dashboard lights have blown on my 1997 1.9D Felicia. Does anyone know the type numbers for both of the bulbs used. I know that they are 1.2W and 2W bulbs, but I don't know what type they are. I don't want to remove the dash until I have the lights ready to hand. Any help will be very appreciated.

Many thanks

Ian

Dash lights

The LEDs or the dash "green lighting"?

I have the dashboard off on mine.

Hi,

It's the green lighting that has gone on mine. Only part of the dash is lit up.

They'll be the tiny one's prob 1.2w. If it's similar to the fav there'll be spare bulbs in unused indicator things along the bottom. For example seat light warning bulb, ABS (if not fitted). Dealers should know the bulb type and sell them relatively cheaply.

Have you tried just banging short and hard the top of the dash above where the dash is not lit up, did this to mine and they've worked ever since lol:D

The right side of my speedo dial has gone dark. I can't get the dash out enough to get at the back of the instrument cluster as it is stopping against the steering column casing. Is there any other way to get at the bulbs? Haynes says the steering wheel has to come off but with the airbag I'm not keen.

Hiya Red, I found that if you can get your hand behind the dash, then you can unclip the speedo cable. Once you havedone that, then the instrument panel does just about come out with the steering wheel still attatched. It is a very tight fit, but with a little wriggling, it can be done. Hope this helps.
