Please save this car!

Featured Replies

I received this email this morning. Can anyone save this car? Please!! I can't right now, too many others. Please PM me for contact details.

"Following a period of illness and recent death of a family friend,

the opportunity arises for me to acquire a more recent motor, thus

signaling the end of some twenty-six years of continuous Estelle

ownership by various family members.

For sale, complete vehicle

- Estelle 120L Five, 1989 'G' reg, 69000 miles, beige, alloy wheels,

sunroof, radio

- Owned by family since new hence one previous owner.

- Last tax/MOT/on road Jan2007 but 'exercised' on long drive

regularly so can truthfully be described as a runner.

- All seats and interior trim in excellent condition due to careful

use of protective covers.

- Sound (if faded) paintwork, parking ding in front passenger door

visible but not immediately obvious.

Additional spares accumulated during Estelle ownership

120L Five

new

- all 'important' water hoses

- distributor caps & rotor arms

- exhaust

- filters, oil, air 6 off,

- front brake pads, 2 sets

- gaskets, head, rocker cover, sump, rocker side cover, exhaust

manifold

- steering rack boots

used

- brake servo

- carburetor

- complete pedal assembly

- dashboard instruments

- distributor

- doors, front offside, rear nearside and offside, complete, maroon

paint

- engine/gearbox drain plugs

- handbrake cables

- heater matrix

- horn

- radiator

- rear brake shoes

- rear shock absorbers

- starter motor 2 off

- track rod end

- underside alloy water pipes

- wheel nuts

- wiper linkage

£170, one hundred and seventy pounds 'all in' to a good home.

I'm sure there is a rear windscreen somewhere too.

If no takers by end of February, will have to dismantle.

Am prepared sell individual major parts for appropriate

sums of money.

Am prepared to deliver major parts when new vehicle acquired."

Where abouts in the country is it....if it was close to me I may be interested
