Featured Replies

when the ignition is on there is a very slight tapping noise:confused: from the left rear of the dash

keeps going even when running and driving does not get any faster or slower from

speed of car nor from the speed of the heating fan:confused: is it the heater matrix:confused:

thanks for you help guys

It's probably your aircon recirc flap

Common fault tbh.

For a while mine was cured by randomly pressing aircon buttons until it stopped.

HTH

I wonder if that's my problem - my aircon has suddenly started blowing much less cool.

It's also gurgling and hissing at me!

That sounds like like it needs regassing Rob

Mine did the gurgling before it was gassed

Well it is nearly five years old.

I'll find someone local who can do it. IIRC in the UK it's about 80 quid?

A little less these days going rate seems about £40-50 when i looked.

In the end my mate did for free:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

V71 recirc flap motor will be going loopy! About £70 new from Skoda if you fancy changing it. Do a search on the forum for it and you'll turn lots up.
