my hubby just changed the thermostat on the fabia, 1.4 , makes a difference as now the needle actually moves. and there is heat.had to buy the whole housing from the dealer, brill idea as hard to get the right one from the factors ,, he said..... think he said need the pump done as small amount of water stain below it,, but needs assistance with photos to do the job, as he`s never done it before. so if anyone can help, much appreciated.

which variant of the 1.4 engine is it?? mpi?? 16v??

2001 14mpi 8 valve. easy peesy he said, and with one eye closed. had to buy the whole thermo, housing and all.
