hello

got a couple of problems here i have an 52 plate octavia 1.9 sdi

first of all the drivers door window regulator is bust it is a manual winding regulator are the regulators different on drivers and passenger side or can they be swapped over and does any body know what other cars use the same regulator.

secondly the drivers side rear door will not open it sounds as if the cental locking motor in that door is not firing when you unlock the car the door pin does not come up and you cannot open the door manually from inside or outside does anyone know how i can get this door open so that i can get into it to get it sorted

Answer to your first question is only another Octavia IIRC.

The second one is apparently you can remove the rear door trim with it shut.There is a thread about this on here somewhere.
