Buying Skoda Felicia

Featured Replies

That dangly thing?

I found a pic on my PC and just enlarged it a tad.

:rofl: oh I am childish, lol.

Yep that's the bit I mean, the big cylinder of metal. I was just wondering if it would hit the brake servo or something as original fav cable doesn't have it.

As far as I'm aware the car was driving fine with it,

Pedal feels nice and dont think it's snagging/hitting anthing, as it's fairly firm with no slack

You're gonna have a field day with the lingo!!! :D

Well I have gone and done it! I'm now the owner of a Skoda Felicia LXi!!

Fingers crossed it was a good decision!!!

and thanks to everyone for their comments and pointers, looks like I will be spending a bit of time around the forums from now on!

:):rolleyes::thumbup::D

Just driven into work in the new steed :)

Feels like a people carrier compared to the Fiesta (not a bad thing just not used to having what feels like an auditorium as an interior!) insurance cost me b*gger all extra which was nice and the car seems to run well, having those extra 200cc's makes a bit of a difference in the mid range too which is nice, though I must say its going to take me a couple of days to get used to the feel of the brakes! Not that they dont work or anything just that they feel pretty different (I have only been driving for 6 months).

Have noticed I've got a nick in my drivers seat belt so I guess thats going to have to be sorted, anyone know what they are like to change (yes i have done a search on here) but most posts regarding them seem to be for the octavia.

Also noticed a small jolt a couple of times when accelerating along the dual-carriageway not sure if it is me or the car though so will let it slide until I'm used to driving it a bit more.

Ohh yes, I dont have a handbook so anyone know where I could get one? And what tyre pressures am I meant to be running front and rear?

sorry for the long(ish) post and all the questions.

:dnfnoob:
