VRS Petrol or Diesel?

To be honest i love my diesel engines. I had a PD130 golf modded to 220bhp and loved it, but at that power level economy wasn't as good as it should for a derv i reckon not a huge difference between my petrol vRS. I decided to buy a vRS but as much as i like diesels i just didn't think it would be right in a vRS. As modding was my main objective it seems adding a few bolt ons to the petrol gave me 280+bhp and the thing is fookin rapid whereas it would have been a lot harder to get the diesel over 200bhp so in this case i went for the petrol.
