I tried to get some help with it and found this heavenly place.

I hope everyone accepts me although i am a newbie, but have gone through a lot of rip offs in the past can contribute my experience and also good in computers......

Morning all first post so apologies if it's in the wrong place. I wanted to do a full circle write up of an issue I have had over the last year with my 2012 CEGA 2.0 TDi octavia. The first symptoms were when driving home along the motorway, very occasionally the heater would stop blowing out hot air altogether, this started off by lasting about 20 seconds, but slowly got worse over time where the heater would stop working for a longer time. I owned a 2017 Superb Mk III and recently swapped to a Mk IV and love the car apart from one very dangerous fault. Occasionally, the car decides I’m about to hit something and slams on the brakes - so hard, that you think you have hit something! It has happened several times whilst manoeuvering at low speed in reverse which is somewhat disquieting. But it has also recently done it whilst driving forwards - in no way on any occasion was there a risk of collision with either stationary or mobile

Hi guys. I tried to code lane assist for my 2019 SUPERB FL using Icar pro Vgate and car scanner pro. Lane assist is showing on dashboard and in the options but it doesn't work. The icon is yellow, car displays message that it is not currently available. What did I miss... A5 camera is 2Q0980653. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks! Maybe there is someone with Obd11 in Shrewsbury area wilkingvto help if car scanner can't perform this coding?

I thought I would post about this issue where my car was holding onto third gear, initially on a random basis. I could move the lever to manual and change up as normal. There were no codes and when my mechanic tried reading live data, the car was changing normally. I tried posting on Facebook but all doom and gloom, mechatronics faulty, clutch gone, etc. My car is now 18 years old any of those repairs effectively mean scrapping the car. Octy 2 1.4TSI ESTATE CAXA Quite uncertain where to enter this question. The keyfob#1 has started to cause serious problems with the car alarm system. So far keyfob#2 is working with no problem. Car alarm starting randomly and only disconnecting the battery helped. Yesterday the alarm kept sounding/flashing even when the engine was running - undrivable. Is there a home cure whereby I can remap/reset the key fob? My very helpful auto sparks is unable to help
