Liquid Gauge for dervs - soon!!

Featured Replies

Just got this email back from the British inventor of the liquid gauge unit. Thought I'd share it with you all :D:

Basil,

I will be sending out the first diesel prototype to a uk-mk4 forum user later this week for testing. If all goes well it should go on sale by the end of the month.

Do these only work with older Octavia's or do they support CAN-BUS on A5 platform cars?

Edit: I see that it is for Pre-CAN only, is there a product like this thats suitable for CAN-BUS Cars?

It will be available later in the year.

Looking forward to that, looks like a great bit of kit, though the screen looks really small, does anyone with one see it okay?

  • 1 month later...

*So* looking forward to this. Can't wait to see what readings it can take off the TDI...

Such a monitor already exists already for the VAG TDIs, 1,8Ts and T(F)Sis: OBD Scanner - VAG TDI Motoren

Costs less than 150 euro delivered depending on the color of the display. The interface is not really that pretty, but it's essentially the same thing. :)
