G28 replaced, still difficult to start

Featured Replies

hi guys

I have finally been able to wire up new speed sensor and cleared the codes but it's still diffucult to start the car.

Auto electricion left his vagcom plugged in while i tried to start it. It initially showed "speed sensor-no signal" but when it fired up, the code could be cleared. BTW it starts now without the need for me to use accelerator.

I changed 2 glow plugs previously but the glow plug light is still on constantly. There are no probs with the brake lights.

Too my untrained mind, it seems that on intial attemp to start the vehicle, something related to the speed sensor needs to warm up.

any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Mike
