Hi all, after doing some background reading I was wondering in the AUM engine fitted to the Octy VRS has the same forged internals as the Mk1 Audi S3/Mk1 Leon Cupra R

I doubt it, but its worth an ask.

If not, what BHP can it realistically go up to before things start breaking?

Finally, is it ever worth fitting a K04 turbo to one of these? Or would you just go the route of Garrett 25/28?

We've been over this recently; the 1.8T 180 has different rods and pistons to the 225.

Worse (in terms of how much bhp they can take) I assume?

Am I right in thinking that the AUM has to small port head too? Does this actually have an impact at all up to 300bhp?

The Vrs has the AUQ engine which can handle up to 300bhp usually but its not as good as the TT/S3. You can reach 300bhp with the correct turbo setup but you need to keep and eye on the torque or the bottom end will let go.
