Does anyone know how to untie the leather part of the shift lever in the new fabia mini??

I want to add some style on it and I don't know how to untie it specially the knob and the silver O-ring that attach it with central console.

Please help

Have not got a clue, but would be interested to know what you intend to replace it with, hopefully not a plastic skull

Remove first the circular plastic first, using your finger nails or a screwdriver pull it gently...

Then turn inside out the leather (vinyl) part upwards, you will see a clips holding the knob attached to the stick, just take it off...

No!!!!!!!.........I'll not replace the knob.......I'll chance the style of the leather part and add a color to the strings instead of black strings.
