Interiors fitted here?

Featured Replies

According to our dealer the Special Edition vrs are shipped over with no interiors and then it is fitted here!

Does this sound normal? Or is this a bit of a porkie pie do you think?!

It seems a little odd to me, he also said they are doing them in batches which is why they aren't all available in the showrooms.

I wouldn't be surprised, they did it with the Fabia SE. They employed a UK company (the name escapes me) to remove the factory seats and fit the replacement seats with leather. I assume it was on a rolling programme of removing and trimming them before refitting them.

Mitsubishi did the same with the L200 warrior.

The dealer isn't porkie pie-ing you.

The LE Octavia vRS is being done the same way as the fabia LE was-sent over, seats ripped out and leather put in. I was told this by my dealer also and it makes perfect sense-look at the pictures posted in the 'grey vRS' (can be accesed via the LE register) thread which show the LEs sitting at the docks and you can clearly see that most of the cars don't have seats in them.

It seems that it is being carried out in batches also, first come, first served type thing.

Just need to wait:rolleyes: (Sigh)
