I'm looking to purchase a secondhand Superb soon. It will be diesel and I did fancy a V6 tdi as I drive a Citroen Xm 2.5td at the moment. However reading on t'internet it seems that most people favour the 1.9 130bhp as the best engine to have.

Any advice please? I realise that each engine will have its devotees but apart from personal choice does one stand out from the other for any reason, and are they both reliable?:confused:
