Hi need some help, on the way home tonight had some pedal judder as though ABS was kicking in but at low speeds 30mph and only gentle braking,

Then the other brake warning light came on, got her home and plugged in code reader came up with 00285 on ABS mode.

Is this a garage job and does it sound expensive:(

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I had that problem wth my fabia, took it to the garage and turns out it was a fault with the ECU, had the codes erased as it was due an MOT (passed), and hasn't come on since. Can't remember the fault code though.

Typed abs 00285 into Google and this came out at the top of the list:
