Very new to Skoda after years with Audi! I have searched the extensive forum but couldnt find a buyers guide for the MkII...So a few Q's!

What power output 1.9 TD was available? Are the all 100? or was the 130 fitted? What reg if they were?

When was the 2.0 TD 140 introduced? I am stretching budget to around 5k, what do you reckon is best car I'll find for that?

Can the RNS510 unit be fitted to any MKII Octavia or do you need the original car to be fitted with a certain factory stereo/other options?

105bhp PD was the only 1.9 offered in the Mk2. The mk1 was offered with a range of power output 1.9s.

The 2.0 TDI 140 was available from the launch of the Mk2.
