I've recently had a new boot build made housing a single Genesis Audiophile sub and a DLS A4 amplifier.

The local place that did the work have put a build thread up on Talk Audio and I thought it would interest some here too

Could be a silly question but how do you protect that if you want to put anything in the boot!!!

Yeah they look terrible in those pictures!!

The car was cleaned about a week after those pictures were taken before Ultimate Dubs, so they are now a nice white colour again!

Theres a trim panel which fits into the gap creating a normal looking boot floor, i'll upload another pic this evening

The original boot carpet fits over the top so when I need to put stuff in the boot I don't have to worry about damaging anything:

Then this is the trim piece that fits into the gap. It's drilled to allow the sub to breathe and allow the amp to cool:

I also had the vinyl changed for black so that it matched better with the seats

That looks really good. Love the fact it's stealth and you don't loose your boot. I'm half way through my build but have lost some motivation to finish it. You may have given me the poke in the ribs needed and I'm fed up with loosing half my boot to a sub box:rotz:

Yeah, I don't carry a spare wheel! The sub box is bolted down to the same point that the spare wheel would use so to keep it in place. The tools fit in the side pockets in the boot
