Finished. Well nearly (I hope) Now need to cut a sheet of 18mm MDF for the top, stick it down and then add some more fibreglass rounds the edges to make sure its air tight.

Spare wheel going on the parcel shelf then? :P Good efforts though - more than I'd ever do. :D

cool idea cant wait to see the finished box

go on... that man.... very brave thing to undertake and alot of effort

Can of trye weld under the passenger seat. If that don't work call the AA or lend Jeff's spare :D

The idea is the boot build will be stealth so for the likes of trackdays I can just put my spare ontop. I wont always be able to lend a spare like Traxs

Can i ask a stupid question...why did you fill it with water? :o

I just asked the same stupid question, apparently it's so he could find out how big it was (60 litres) for when he's porting it.... should be interesting

Trying to prise him away from his own car to help fit the speakers in mine tho  *hint hint jonny boy*

Was wondering how long it'll take before someone asks that question. My aim was to build a box that would be 60l in size and then tune it to around 30ish hz using a port. So the water was simply to measure the box. If the box would of been smaller the port size would have to be different.

So then 60l for 12" that's quite impressive! ;)

Shame really then John that you only used the box for about a week! :D

Mind you - that's about 5 days longer than I used mine for. :P

(btw - if you're wondering why I'm posting a late reply - I was bored so I just decided to see what you'd been talking about all these months home.... alone... in your room... :D )
