sorry, dumb A55 question 2

Featured Replies

will my PS3 , late 2007 year ,40gb harddrive model, be wireless enabled or will i need to use the ethernet plug in the back ?

and if i have to use the plug connector , how does this work with the wireless router thats arriving soon from TalkTalk ?

:o

Yes, it's wireless enabled. You can either use that, or connect it via a network cable to the router. Your choice.

If wireless, go into the Settings menu, then Network and wireless. You'll see all the settings there.

i thought all PS3's were wireless.

Will probably be fun entering the encryption key in with a joy pad :rotz:

i thought all PS3's were wireless.

it didn't seem very clear whether it did or didn't have wireless when i was looking through the mickey mouse instruction book

if you can use a wired connection you would be better with that as the wireless on the ps3 sucks:thumbdwn: . with wireless i get constant lag online with ps3

If you do need to use wireless, and have to enter your encryption key, connect a USB keyboard if you have one - quickest and easiest solution of the lot :)

The A5 is a prettier router through Anglesey... far more scenic than the A55 - just in case you ever need to know! ;)

done both roads on the way to Ty Croes , to be honest , the new dual carriageway is brilliant , the old road was a PITA when getting off the island

When the PS3 was first launched, there was a 60GB model with card reader + 4 USB ports, and a 20GB model with no card reader and only 2 USB ports. The latter 20GB model did not have wireless.

But all PS3s since then do have wireless :)
