Lower door guard

Featured Replies

Hi All

Not too sure what this part is called however please see the attached picture:

How can i remove the lower bumper bit so i can attempt to get it on properly? I didnt want to yank it off in case i mess it up.

The door isnt bent (or doesnt look it).

Thanks.

I've had some stoopid woman throw my door into the wheel of a parked car and then even though I said leave it I'll sort it she ripped the door back and parted the end of that part from the rest of it, I used superglue and a heavy book to get it back into position on the car.

So is is originally glued or clipped in? Doesnt make sense to be originally glued.

It's clipped on, but it's a two part part where the outer meets the inner is bonded, then the inner is clipped to the door.

You need to check if there is a black grooved backing or not, if all you see is the door skin then the strip is still intact, mine was different it had seperated, I used the glue and leant a heavy book against it until it set.
