Non-stealers I've used APS in Brackley. miles up the M40 past Oxford. They have a good name/rep and Brackley centre (rather than the trading estate) is well worth a wander through picking up the odd pie and/or pint (just the one!)

I've also used Jabbasport who are good. They're not close by either though - LOL.. I found several additional reasons to go to Jabba.... Suspension, rear ARB, remap.... Must have saved a good £100 on the two services they performed (as opposed to Skoda dealers). But then spent say £800-£900 having shiny bits fitted.

On the ambience side of the equation Brackley gets the nod.

On the Skoda side of things, Willis Skoda in South Ruislip are good but a right PITA to get to at the wrong time of day.

When I lived by Heathrow, I used Marlborough in Isleworth (supplied both Octavias) and Withams (Weybridge) for spares.

Yep, had been in the family 95years until my father retired and sold it ot Toyota, who made a complete balls up and went bust!

Don't suppose you'd buy it back and re-open it as a Skoda dealer or VAG/SEAT/Skoda indie? Only, one reason for me buying mine was it was cycling or even walking distance from home...

I understand that Hughes of Beaconsfield might be opening a Skoda main dealership where the Saab garage is in Farnham Royal at the moment and moving that to Slough.

The sales manager at Marlborough is Keith Mulberry.. Used to be my fathers Managing director until the business was sold about 3 years ago...
