Superb LE100 for sale, (autotrader) BUT....

Featured Replies

I'm presently toying with the idea of changing cars, and have considered the superb Superb.

Browsing through Autotrader last night, I came across this one, which going by the description sounded half tempting.

I then clicked on the images, and enlarged the one of the boot.

Instantly put off, or is it just me being overly fussy?

I know its instantly removable, but things like that instantly sound warning bells to me as to how its been treated. How tacky on such a fine specced up car...imo of course.

Semi half apologies if it belongs to someone in here, but I really think you should have removed it first. It just doesn't look right and is off putting for some as a potential purchase..

Auto Trader UK - SKODA SUPERB 1.9 TDI PD 130 Edition 100 4dr Saloon Special Eds

Just noticed he/she's replaced the Skoda badges with some tacky chequered flag design on them too!!:

did the fact is says its a '1896 cc ' with '170bhp' not seem a little odd? to me this is telling me its a PD130 with a remap so seeing a motorsport sticker on doesn't exactly worry me nor would the change of badges.

So long as it'g got FSH and all panels are straight and it looks like its been looked after there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

I would rather buy a car from someone who genuinly has an interest in them rather than average joe who doesn't careless about their car and probably gets it serviced with the cheapest parts etc and spoiling the car.

The sticker is poxy but I would agree that it looks well looked after.

40k miles with "motorsport" stickers and a remap?

I'd say that's been raped mercilessly. I suspect it's on variable as well, so that'll mean it's probably only had two oil changes or something silly.

If it were me, I'd run a mile...!

I'm with Bluefox on this one!

Me too!

I clicked off the ad. so fast hadn't noticed that it had been re-mapped too.

What a beautifully specced out car though...apart from the above and the Skoda badge gargoyle replacements.
