Clay? what the heck is clay?

Featured Replies

Im pretty new to the detailing lark but have started to get into it. i dont have a drive garage or pressure washer but have been using the 2BM to wash and various nice products, lambswool mit and mostly Auto Glym stuff.

Question for anyone though-what the heck is clay? it looks like a bit of putty that you use to pick up dirt? is that how you use it?

anywords of wisdom appreciated:D

I clay 2 times yearly...

If you want to give it a go, and it really does make your paint super smooth, then the Megs Quick Clay kit is a pretty good place to start, and you could pick one up in the 3 for 2 at Halfrauds.

No problem, it does get very addictive - get yourself on detailingworld then it's a slippery slope to total OCD madness.
