Sorry for posting another (MPG) based poston this forum. I am hoping I could possibly get a more specific MPG for the New Fabia 1.2 16v 70BHP engine. I am hoping you will be so kind as to follow the below as it will give me a better idea of what is (Average!!) for the 1.2 16v 70BHP (My Parents Car)

1. MPG

2. Computer or Brim Method

3. Normal REVS at change (e.g 2,500rpm)

4. Speed (Fast, Normal, Slow)

5. Mainly drive (Motorway, Town, A-Roads) or mix

6. Aircon - On / Off / Mix

Ok a rather geek style approach I agree, but if you can help I will be very greatful

The engine you are asking about has got 12 valves not 16, four valves for each cylinder :-)

Have a Fabia 1.2 Level 2 70hp H/Back @ 10600 miles(Yes it DOES make a difference)-in the order requested above:

1)36-38mpg short-ish journeys e.g.shopping but improves on longer runs to around 45-47mpg.

2)Brim method preferred-see other posts on this ref:inaccuracy(alleged) of computer(s).

3)Average revs on upward changes=2500-3300

4)Speed 60-70mph(no faster even on motorways-yes,really)

5)Mixed driving.

6)Aircon-mixed usage(weather-dependent,unsurprisingly).

7)No,workload not too great today,thanks.
