Right Just bought a Jabbasport RARB about 5 minutes ago am now looking at some lowering springs to go with the Koni sports dampers sat under my bed!

I need some advice on what springs to go with? I am looking at some Koni spings to go with the dampers. Im not sure if these are good? they drop it i believe about 40mm? If anyone has these and has a pic or any advice it would be great!

Im after a big drop to give me the stance im after, but i don't want bad handling thou?

Any help or pics of any springs (not coils :P) at different heights would be great,

You'll never get a decent drop on springs and shocks I'm afraid, unless you get ones which aren't VRS specific, which isn't the best idea.

You need at least 60mm slammage just to bring the gap down to a sensible 10-15mm tyre to arch

I have had a quick look through the stance archive a few times, never any koni springs? i have seen a few cars on here with 50mm springs and they look great but the rides not great apparently so i may just go with the Koni's then unless anyone else knows really good 50mm springs for the vRS?

stop being a woos and whack some coilies on it

i would like coils but i have already shelled out on dampers a new RARB plus other bits so not realy got the £££ :-(

You'll honestly not be happy on springs if you want it looking 'low' i had the eibachs on and it wasnt doing it for me so had to whack coilies on it :(

Yay! a good month or so later and my new spax springs have arrived! all i have to do now is work out how to fit them? :confused:

do you need the hub spreading tool, or is there another way?

id be interested in seeing how this comes out actually with the spax springs, ive got some apex springs that are being fitted tomorrow and apprantly are 35mm so when its done ill post up a pic. how long do springs take to settle properly?

not sure how long they take? i think its very quick? The post above of the silver vrs with black rims is on spax springs

Well finally got all my component parts and the car is booked into JKM next week for a 60,000 service and suspension upgrade!
