As long as the lights have an E-mark type approval mark on them, then they are completely, 100%, legal. If they don't then you shouldn't use them, but if they are proper RHD units then no-one would stop you to look.

AFAIK, all the CCFL round headlamp conversions currently offered for sale on ebay and places like SuperSkoda are LHD units only and would therefore blind oncoming motorists and fail an MOT.

Which ones were you considering?

IMHO, forget those expensive (and very difficult to fit into sealed headlamps) Angel Eye kits, and do this instead:
