My interior light cover is cracked and broken just bought a unit off flee bay. Does anyone know how to replace it. Should it just pull out with a bit of effort

You need to remove the lense covering the bulbs and up inside there you will find two recessed Phillips screws.

Even with these removed I found mine very tight. I used a small flat bladed screwdriver to release the clips around the edge of the light.

Be careful not to bend the thin metal frame that the unit clips into in the headlining.

I replaced mine with one from a Superb with the "Cat Eye" ambient lighting LEDs that shine down onto the centre console illuminated symbols on the buttons.

If it is just the clear bulb cover bit then this is just pull off as mentioned. use a small flat screwdriver from the windscreen side to split it from the bulb holder.
