Hey guys, just about to start to fix my felicia fun clutch. I only got it saturday so still sorting out little odds n sods on it.

Main on being the clutch slip problem.

Looking at the clutch kits being supplied, my local eurocar parts has them in stock, and has several different brands. Any difference between them or are they all much of a muchness. They dont list them as having any differences. Only price. Varying from £45 to £60 for them. Inc delivery!

Also getting a full service kit comprising, air filter, oil filter, pollen filter, fuel filter, spark plugs... want to make sure the cars sorted

There might be subtle differences between them but you might get away with the cheapest one tbh.

How much is an OEM clutch?

i paid £150 for an OEM clutch and fitting for my former Felly 1.6.

I know of this place. They have some expensive uprated clutches. CG-MOTORSPORT - Clutch Kit Specialists they're based not far from me actually but never bought anything from there.

well i dont think im going to bother with the clutch to be honest for a little while.

After fixing the VERY bad smoking problem - lost 2 litres of oil in 80 miles! lol

After some thrash the clutch is feeling better and better so im not going to replace it until its buggered

That does sound like a bad smoking problem!!! prob the piston rings if it's burning oil

Well i believe oil is seeping past the oil control rings but because the crankcase is pressuring as the breather system keeps blocking up. I need to get it off, but its a right little bugger to get too. After sucking it out to clear it, it temporarily stopped smoking and ran sweet as a nut, but today it seemed to block up again and started smoking again. So i think theres some gunky **** stuck on the filter blocking it.

Mine has done exactly the same, started after mistakenly using diesel oil when it had its last service. I recon the oil has cleaned it out and shifted it into the breather. If i get chance i will clean it out before i sell it
