Just bought this for the felly,

Skoda Felicia 1.3 Mpi Thermostat-BRAND NEW on eBay, also, Skoda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 07-May-09 13:46:36 BST)

Anybody comment on what has changed for the Mk2/facelift ??? I'm assuming it's just getting rid of the stupid spring and plunger design ?

Are you sure thats the right thermostat for the 1.3 mpi as when i bought mine from skoda it was the full unit including temp sensor and i'm sure it is the exact same as what came of my 1999 model

Well, I'll find out when it arrives. It's a modified part so may not look the same as the old design.

Ok looking at it.... the part I'm buying is one side of the complete housing. Hence why it isn't a complete unit like alex27 bought.

Yep... its just an improved housing for the thermostat as the original is secure just by the plastic body of the thermostat and not by the metal of the thermostat itself.

Should fit just fine and will probably never need to replace the housing again as that is normally the only reason it does need doing.

I've also seen metal housing... was that on the favorit?

Yup... think when I got mine it came to about £47 odd.

Yeah but it's only half the unit. I'm not getting the bit that holds the temp sensor.
