Hi all,yes a newbie with a problem

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Recently purchased a 03 plate superb 1.9 tdi ater taking some advice from friends who highly recommended the vehicle, car drives like a dream and was quite impressed untill today parked vehicle up came out 10 mins later and car would not turn over although ignition lights etc are ok tried relocking the car and unlocked it again to see if that would make a difference but alas not.

It seems to be no power getting to starter, although i can hear a clicking coming from around the abs unit on passenger wing when trying to turn the engine over.

I know all cars get problems but after 2 days im quite annoyed with the garage who sold me the vehicle it has done 76000 miles and was wondering if any of you could shed any light on the matter...ps i noticed a yellow light on a circle with broken lines around it like brake fluid level or pad wear indicators...please help if you can.

Welcome to Briskoda :)

Sorry to hear of your problems :(

This section is primarily just to say Hi, and as such not everybody reads

it Im afraid

If you post up in the Superb section of the forum you will get a lot more views and the friendly chaps/chapesses will be able to help & advise you much more

Best of luck sorting out your problem

Regards

Damian

welcome along

Could be either dirty battery terminals or perhaps a jammed starter motor. If the latter, pushing it to and fro in second gear with the handbrake on might free it for the moment - but it would need seeing to and you.should be able to get the selling garage to do something about it.

Welcome. Hope you get it sorted.
