Hello there!

I have been monitoring this site since I joined up a few months ago and have decided you're not all glue-sniffing boy-racers, so...I shall try and mingle!!

I have a 2007 Octavia Scout TDI in Satin Grey Metallic with an AMD remap. It replaced a trusty 2003 Octavia vRS estate in Black Magic, with a Superchip and 17" vRS Saloon wheels, I owned and loved for 4 years.

I was a fully paid up member of the VW Golf GTI community for 10yrs before this.

I am interested in any subtle mods for the Octavia II. The remap makes it nice and brisk and an AMD quickshift linkage (I know, it's a little out of character for a scout!) which sorted out the rather slow gearchange. Other than that, I have fitted it with an all-chrome front grille (not as bad as it sounds:rotz:), which makes the front end look a little more stylish...

Any ideas on what tyres work best for the Scout? The standard Dunlops are on their way out after 20k.

Dunno, I just remember kids sniffing glue when i was younger. Although Zammo was 'smacked up' in Grange Hill, wasn't he?

Are drugs that cheap now? I did see a Gram of MDMA in an argos catalogue for a tenner the other day. Perhaps I'll give it a go. Thanks for the tip, fatty 5000!
