Well, been on here for over 4 years now, contributed some, and learnt a lot more. But time to say goodbye. But not to Briskoda, just this forum. I am getting a 2026 Skoda Karoq delivered tomorrow, so will be migrating over to that forum. Thanks for all advice given here, it's helped a lot.

hi all, My 2010 Superb estate is due for an MOT in two weeks, and unfortunately the (brown) airbag crash sensor wire in the driver door loom is damaged, giving me an error on the dash board. The damage is in a rather awkward location (10cm away from connector) , and I am struggle to access it, let alone strip and fix it. Calling on the experts here for some advice. Can I pull the collection of cables out of the door by a few cm? Or is there an option to remove th

Hi, I've been on Briskoda for just over 4 years but on the Superb forum. Tomorrow I am getting my 2026 Karoq 1.5 TSI SE L Edition delivered. 3 Months old ex demo, so will be on this forum now a lot, to learn about it, and perhaps contribute a bit.

Hello, I would like to ask for your help. I have two different engine. DFGA and CXXB. 2.0 liter with adblue and 1.6 liter without adblue. The oil ash mass quantity is: DFGA - 60g CXXB - 11g The ash mass limit is 80g. Both cars have the same mileage and are used in the same way. Why is there such a big difference between the two numbers? Is 60g a lot? How effective is DPF cleaning? I'm not talking about regeneration. Thank you!

I'm a newbie Superb owner and felt my tailgate struts are not as efficient as they might be. Having entered Make, Model and Engine size as well as registration into both the AUTODOC site and app, I was presented with a long list of struts, all of which, I was informed, were suitable for the car. (You can see where this is going!). Ordered 2 x Stabilus 301171's which, on arrival, clearly did NOT fit. Challenged Autodoc who said I should have checked the VIN first with them by email - there is no
