Best treatment for brand new car

Featured Replies

I am getting my brand new Fabia VRS, Black Magic on the 30th, and i want to keep it as clean as i can, so i want to treat it right from day one...

What treatments do you recommend for:

Alloys

Seats

and just giving it a clean every week

cheers guys

and gals

I had Supaguard put on mine when I got it a few months back. Flies have never been easier to remove.

There are a couple of levels available and it comes with the after care kit. Some dealers are able to apply it to the car befor delivery.

Do a search on posts by the "waxwizard" and you won't go far wrong, his cleaning and polishing products are the best money can buy - nuff said.

Oh, and congratulations and welcome walkie.

Ill Second Wax Wixxard, had both our cars done by him over 12 months ago & the results are fantastic

Mobile is the best way to contact Mark as hes on the road a lot, try anytime, if he dosent want calls it will be on answerphone so leave a message & tel no

Purely from personal choice...

I use Halfords cheap car shampoo for washing.

Swissol (from Mark - Wax Wizard) for Waxing.

MC2 Multiclean (Mark again) for alloy cleaning & general other cleaning.

Seats & Carpets were treated with Simoniz Teflon from new. Cheaper than the over-priced rubbish the dealers sell, and it works.

I'm with Geoff except that I use Mark's (Wax Wizard) shampoo for car washing and don't have a problem with upholstery or mats showing marks since mine are black/dark grey. :)

Park it in the garage until next summer, road salt will be a nightmare for you
